Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions govern all sales of printed posters concluded on nabiuhmaps.com and its sub-domains between NABIUH MAPS and any buyer acting as a consumer within the meaning of the French Consumer Code.
They are made available before the order is placed and must be accepted for it to be validated. Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. Sales to business buyers are governed by separate terms, available on request.

Article 3Products
The products offered are printed posters. Available sizes are shown on each product page.
The artwork is generated from cartographic data. As each print is a unique item, slight variations in colour, contrast or framing may occur compared with the images shown on the website. Such variations are inherent to the printing process and do not constitute a lack of conformity.
The artwork evolves: data is updated and its depiction refined over time. Two prints of the same subject ordered on different dates may therefore differ in content. Each print conforms to the description and the artwork shown on its product page on the day of the order; a later change does not constitute a lack of conformity.
Posters are sold unframed and without a mount, unless stated otherwise.
Article 4Prices
Prices are shown in euros on each product page. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: no VAT is charged on these amounts and none may be reclaimed.
Delivery charges are shown before the order is finally confirmed and are added to the price of the products. The total amount payable is summarised before payment.
Prices may be changed at any time. Products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is recorded.
Article 5Orders
The buyer selects the products, reviews the order details, corrects them where necessary, accepts these terms and then confirms the order. Confirmation concludes the contract and entails an obligation to pay.
An acknowledgement summarising the order is sent by email. NABIUH MAPS reserves the right to decline any abnormal order, in particular in the event of a previous dispute or suspected fraud.
Article 6Payment
Payment is made online, in full, by bank card through a secure payment provider. Payment details are transmitted directly to that provider and are never held by NABIUH MAPS.
Orders are processed only once payment has actually been received.
Article 7Delivery
Products are delivered to the address given by the buyer when ordering. The delivery area covers mainland France and the European Union.
The indicative delivery time is 8 to 10 working days from validation of payment, production included. In any event, delivery takes place no later than thirty days after the contract is concluded.
In the event of delay, the buyer may require the seller to deliver within a reasonable additional period; failing performance, the buyer may terminate the contract by registered letter or in writing on another durable medium. Sums paid are then refunded within fourteen days.
Posters are shipped rolled in a rigid tube. On receipt, buyers are advised to check the condition of the parcel in the carrier's presence and to report any visible damage.
Article 8Right of withdrawal
Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has fourteen days from receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without giving reasons and without penalty.
To do so, the buyer informs NABIUH MAPS of the decision by an unambiguous statement sent to hello@nabiuhmaps.com, or using the form appended to these terms.
Products must be returned no later than fourteen days after that notification, in their original packaging or packaging offering equivalent protection. Return costs are borne by the buyer.
Reimbursement, including the standard delivery charges initially paid, takes place no later than fourteen days after the products are recovered or after proof of their dispatch, using the same means of payment as the original transaction.
Exception. Under Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the buyer's specifications or clearly personalised. This covers only prints carrying an address marker or a personalised wording added at the buyer's request. Standard prints, including those printed to order, remain subject to the right of withdrawal.
Article 9Statutory guarantees
All products benefit as of right, and at no extra cost, from the statutory guarantees, independently of any commercial warranty.
Statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): the buyer has two years from delivery of the goods to bring a claim, and may choose between repair and replacement, subject to the cost conditions laid down by law. The buyer is not required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity during the twenty-four months following delivery.
Guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code): the buyer may bring a claim within two years of discovering the defect, and obtain rescission of the sale or a reduction in price.
Any claim under these guarantees should be sent to hello@nabiuhmaps.com, together with photographs of the defect where possible.
Article 10Liability
NABIUH MAPS is liable as of right for the proper performance of the order, unless non-performance is attributable to the buyer, to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party unconnected with the contract, or to force majeure.
The posters are decorative objects. The cartographic representations they carry are produced from open data for aesthetic and documentary purposes; they may not be used for navigation, for determining property boundaries or for safety purposes.
Article 11Intellectual property
The NABIUH MAPS trade mark, the website, the artwork, the texts and the graphic composition of the posters are protected. Purchasing a poster confers ownership of the physical object only, to the exclusion of any right of reproduction, commercial exploitation or resale as a work.
Article 12Personal data
The data collected when ordering — identity, contact details, delivery address — are necessary to process the order and to meet the seller's legal and accounting obligations. They are kept for the applicable statutory period.
They are disclosed only to the providers strictly required: payment provider, printer, carrier. No data is passed on for advertising purposes.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, the buyer has rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, which may be exercised at hello@nabiuhmaps.com. A complaint may also be lodged with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Article 13Complaints and mediation
Any complaint should be sent to hello@nabiuhmaps.com. NABIUH MAPS undertakes to respond as promptly as possible.
Under Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, after first attempting to settle the dispute directly with the seller, the buyer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer ombudsman appointed by NABIUH MAPS:

Recourse to mediation is optional and does not prevent the matter being brought before the courts.
Article 14Governing law, language and amendments
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts have jurisdiction under the conditions laid down by the French Consumer Code. Buyers resident in another Member State of the European Union retain the benefit of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence.
These terms are a translation of the French original. In the event of any discrepancy of interpretation, the French version prevails. It is available at nabiuhmaps.com.
NABIUH MAPS reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The applicable terms are those in force on the date of the order, a copy of which is attached to the order acknowledgement.
